Janardan D. Khandekar, MD, is Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Director of the Kellogg Cancer Care Center at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare, a major affiliate of Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Khandekar is a Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University and a member of the executive committee of the Lurie Cancer Center. Dr. Khandekar joined the university in 1975 and served as one of the associate directors of the Cancer Center from 1989 to 1995. He was the P.I. for the NCI sponsored Community Clinical Oncology Program from 1983 to 2000 and is Co-P.I. for Northwestern University's Vanguard Center on Women's Health Initiative. His research interests are in the areas of prevention and development of clinical trials. |
