Steve Rosen Celebrates Father’s Day at the White House

Dr. Steve Rosen, director of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, joined President Barack Obama for a special Father's Day event at the White House. The day-long event celebrated the importance of connecting male role models with young men to support young men's ambitions as future leaders and fathers. Rosen was part of a group of accomplished fathers from around the country who met with local Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland youth taking part in activities and discussions centered on the importance of fatherhood and strengthening the character of young men. Following a Town Hall meeting with the President, Rosen and his son, Nicholas, 17, attended a barbecue at the White House.
