Heather, a 33 year old middle school teacher, is one of the "Faces of Cancer" we will honor Sunday, June 3rd at the 19th Annual Cancer Survivors' Celebration & Walk. Following her stem cell transplant at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, Heather is looking forward to leaving her five year battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma behind.
Please forward the video to friends, family and colleagues, post on Facebook, and help spread the word about this unique celebration of cancer survivors, caregivers, and the physicians, scientists and health professionals who support them.
*The Lurie Cancer Center supports the following concept from the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship: "from the moment of diagnosis through the balance of life, an individual diagnosed with cancer is a cancer survivor."
Register online for the Cancer Survivors' Celebration & Walk.
