Virginia Kaklaman
Saturday - October 13, 2012
8:00 a.m. — 5:30 p.m.
Robert H. Lurie Medical Research Center
303 E. Superior Street, Chicago

A diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer is certain to be followed by many questions and concerns. The Metastatic Breast Cancer Network’s (MBCN) 6th Annual Conference, “Moving Forward with Metastatic Breast Cancer,” was developed to address these concerns—and provide the information women and men living with metastatic breast cancer are searching for.

Chaired by oncologist Virginia Kaklamani, MD, DSc, Co-Director of the Lurie Cancer Center’s Cancer Genetics Program, the conference will offer patients the chance to network, and to learn from some of the nation’s leading experts on metastatic breast cancer and related topics, including:

Steven Rosen, MD — Emerging Research
Gail Gamble, MD — Improving Daily Functioning
William Gradishar, MD — Treating Bone Metastases
Judith Paice, PhD, RN — Treating Pain and Neuropathy
Sarah K. Rosenbloom, PhD — Role of the Caregiver
Virginia Burns, LAC — Acupuncture & Chinese Herbology
