At Northwestern:

Support groups give patients and families an opportunity to meet and share their experiences with others who are coping with similar concerns and challenges.

Brain Tumor Support Group
Open to interested patients diagnosed with brain tumors, these previously treated for brain tumors, their family, friends, and interested health care workers.
Myeloma Patient and Caregiver Support Group
Provides patients with information about the disease, insurance and billing, nutrition and
pain management.

Online Support Groups

CancerCare® is a national non-profit organization that provides free professional support services for anyone affected by cancer.

Starting a Family after Cancer:

This free support group offers patients thinking about starting a family after cancer an opportunity to learn about a wide range of options,and get to know others with similar challenges and concerns. Partners and family members are welcome.
