The 18th Annual Cancer Survivors' Celebration & Walk was a record-breaking event in more ways than one! Close to 4,000 cancer survivors, friends, family members and caregivers—more than ever before--took part in the event held on National Cancer Survivors Day, Sunday, June 5th.
Picture-perfect summer weather was the backdrop for the sea of purple (worn by cancer survivors) and white-t-shirts seen along the lakefront walk path, and enjoying the picnic and entertainment in Grant Park. (Read more)
