The Lurie Cancer Center welcomed our affiliate, the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, to our medical campus in June, 2012.

Patients and families treated at Lurie Children's have access to experienced specialists and critical resources including:

• One of the nation's largest pediatric stem cell transplant programs, complete with long-term care for chronic graft-vs.-host disease
• The Midwest's only Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium Center, providing cutting-edge care for rare pediatric brain tumors.
• A unique program for pediatric survivors, Survivors Taking Action & Responsibility (STAR), that teams with Northwestern Memorial Hospital for continuity of care from adolescence and adulthood.

Ranked 9th in the nation by U.S.News & World Report for pediatric oncology, Lurie Children's is the only hospital in Illinois that is included in the honor roll of Best Children's Hospitals.
