The overarching objective of the research ongoing in my laboratory is the identification of protein networks and signaling pathways that are functionally compromised in pediatric brain tumors to enable development of effective and safe individualized targeted therapies. Toward this goal, we are conducting a comprehensive integrative analysis of the genome, epigenome and transcriptome of these tumors and mapping all identified structural/functional alterations to protein networks and cellular processes with the aid of system's biology databases.
