Our research focuses on the pathogenesis and treatment of fibrosis. We focus on the interplay between vascular and autoimmune/inflammatory events in pathological fibrosis. Our clinical research is focused on the development and evaluation of novel treatments for scleroderma, in using functional genomics to identifying novel biomarkers, and in identifying the genetic bases for fibrosis and systemic sclerosis.
