My laboratory's research focuses on understanding how dysregulated cell cycle controls promote tumorigenesis and alter normal, lineage-specific transcriptional programs in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells as well as in epithelial cells. We also study basic mechanisms of cyclin regulation. In my laboratory, we utilize primary and organotypic cell culture, mouse models, and live cell imaging. Discovery projects underway involve the use and study of small regulatory RNAs and synthetic lethality screens.
