Northwestern University Training Programs

The Lurie Cancer Center offers NIH-funded training programs for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows (MD and PhD), clinicians, and under-represented students. Trainees may pursue basic, translational, or clinical research under the guidance of established investigators. They receive state-of-the-art training using the latest techniques to investigate the mechanisms underlying the development and spread of tumors, and develop new approaches to prevent, detect, diagnose, and treat cancer. In addition to research training, many of the programs have educational components; and each program provides a stipend.
