Dr. Shira Dinner Receives NCI Cancer Clinical Investigator Team Leadership Award
Lurie Cancer Center member, Shira Dinner, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Feinberg School of Medicine, is one of 10 investigators nationwide to receive a 2017 Cancer Clinical Investigator Team Leadership Award from the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
The award recognizes and supports outstanding mid-career clinical investigators such as Dinner who work at NCI-designated cancer centers and participate extensively in NCI-funded collaborative clinical trials. Awardees must demonstrate leadership, participation and activities that promote a culture of successful clinical research.
