Lurie Cancer Center Members Named to New Leadership Positions

Two senior leaders of the Lurie Cancer Center, Jeffrey Wayne, MD, and William Gradishar, MD, have added new leadership positions at Northwestern Medicine.

Jeffrey Wayne, MD, (left) has been appointed Chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Wayne will continue to serve as Associate Director for Clinical Affairs at the Lurie Cancer Center. He is also Chair of the Committee on Cancer at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he serves as Chief of Staff.

Dr. Wayne is Professor of Surgical Oncology and Dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

William Gradishar, MD, (right) has been named Interim Chief of the Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Gradishar will continue to serve as Deputy Director of the Lurie Cancer Center’s Clinical Network, and as Director of the Maggie Daly Center for Women’s Cancer Care.

Dr. Gradishar is the Betsy Bramsen Professor of Breast Oncology and Professor of Hematology/Oncology at Feinberg.
