Meeks Receives 2017 SWOG Early Exploration & Development (SEED) Award

Joshua Meeks, MD, PhD, was awarded a 2017 SWOG Early Exploration & Development award from the Hope Foundation SEED Fund to encourage preliminary research that will potentially translate to future clinical trials or trial-associated projects (translational medicine studies) within SWOG and the National Clinical Trials Network. 

Meeks, a member of the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, is Assistant Professor of Urology at the Feinberg School of Medicine. The SEED Fund grant will support his study, “Development of a Molecular Risk Stratification Tool for High-Risk Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer.”
