Basic Insights Award Recipients Announced

The Lurie Cancer Center is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 Basic Insights Award.

Through the generous support of The H Foundation, the Basic Insights Award will support investigators in Lurie Cancer Center’s Basic Science Research Programs --Cancer Epigenetics & Nuclear Dynamics (CEND), Tumor Environment & Metastasis (TEAM), Membranes, Organelles & Metabolism (MOM), and Cancer & Physical Sciences (CAPS) -- on Northwestern’s Evanston campus.

The goal of this initiative is to move basic biology insights into more cancer-relevant systems through the collaboration of a PI from the Evanston campus with a PI from the Feinberg School of Medicine, along with access to the methods and materials necessary to conduct cutting-edge research. The award was established to facilitate new cancer-related grants and collaborative papers.
