Developed by the team behind the Lurie Cancer Center's longstanding oncology education programs and featuring distinguished faculty from leading cancer centers nationwide, this inaugural symposium offers a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues, explore emerging advances, and gain practical strategies that can be immediately applied to patient care.

The target audience for this activity includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, fellows, oncology nurses and allied health professionals in gastrointestinal cancer.
Learning Objectives
- Apply current evidence-based strategies for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal
malignancies, including hepatobiliary, gastroesophageal, colorectal, pancreatic, and
neuroendocrine cancers.
- Evaluate the role and optimal sequencing of systemic, surgical, radiation, and liver-directed
therapies to individualize treatment plans.
- Incorporate emerging targeted therapies, biomarker-driven approaches, and novel treatment
modalities into clinical practice.
- Integrate multidisciplinary collaboration into the care of patients with GI cancers to improve clinical
outcomes.
- Analyze complex clinical cases to inform decision-making and optimize patient-centered care.
