Lurie Cancer Center Investigators Named Among Most Highly Cited Researchers

Nine members of the Lurie Cancer Center are among the “world’s most influential scientific minds,” according to the Highly Cited Researchers (HCR) list released by Clarivate Analytics, part of the Web of Science Group. The list recognizes “true pioneers in their fields over the last decade,” demonstrated by the publication of multiple papers that rank in the top 1% of scholarly publication cited by their peers.

“Breakthrough science at Northwestern exerts a huge impact, creating the knowledge and approaches that change research disciplines,” said Lurie Cancer Center member Milan Mrksich, PhD, Vice President for Research at Northwestern University. “Publication is an important way that our faculty communicate their advances and make them available to researchers across the globe.”
