Summer Research Programs
Training the next generation of clinicians and scientists is at the foundation of the Lurie Cancer Center's mission. Our summer research programs give students the opportunity to learn and become active participants in cancer research. The hope is that these new experiences will inspire students to consider health- and science-related careers.
- CURE (Continuing Umbrella of Research Experience)
Offers underserved undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in laboratory summer research experiences.
- ChicagoCHEC Research Fellows
A comprehensive learning experience for undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students from Northeastern Illinois University, University of Illinois at Chicago, Northwestern University, the City Colleges of Chicago and other Community/Junior Colleges in the Chicago metropolitan area.
- Chicago Region-Physical Sciences Oncology Center
The center offers laboratory research experiences for underserved college students interested in the physical and biomedical sciences.
