Lurie Cancer Center Investigators Recognized on Global ‘Highly Cited’ List for 2025

The Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University continues to be recognized among the world’s leading institutions for the impact of our research, with nine investigators from Lurie Cancer Center recognized on the 2025 list of Highly Cited Researchers.

The scientists on the list, published by the Institute for Scientific Information at Clarivate, “contribute disproportionately to extending the frontiers of knowledge and contributing to innovations that make the world healthier.” Highly Cited Researchers represent just one in 1,000 scientists and social scientists worldwide, highlighting the significance of this achievement.

“This recognition underscores the profound and wide-ranging influence of our scientists, and reflects our culture of collaboration across Northwestern,” said Leonidas Platanias, MD, PhD, director of the Lurie Cancer Center.
