Dr. Christina Barriteau is a pediatric hematologist and transfusion medicine specialist. She is Medical Director of the blood bank at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Barriteau's clinical interests include sickle cell disease, pediatric transfusion medicine and health equity. Dr. Barriteau is a pediatric hematologist with expertise in sickle cell disease and benign hematology. Dr. Barriteau also specializes in management of children and adults receiving chronic blood transfusion for treatment of underlying medical conditions such as sickle cell disease and thalassemia.
