Cancer-Focused Research

Dr. Olga Kantor is a breast surgical oncologist at Northwestern University. She completed her medical degree at University of Illinois and masters of public health sciences at the University of Chicago. She completed her general surgery residency at University of Chicago and her breast surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital & Brigham and Women's Hospital-Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Kantor is actively involved in national surgical and oncology societies and has published over 70 original research articles. Her clinical interests include benign and malignant breast diseases, especially in young women. Her research interests include minimizing disparities in locoregional outcomes for breast cancer and tailoring treatments for breast cancer. She also has a special interest in surgical education.
