Cancer-Focused Research
My research focuses on the causes and treatment of tobacco use and dependence, especially among disadvantaged and underserved populations. I have been involved in tobacco-related research, education, and clinical work for nearly twenty-five years. My treatment research has included large efficacy and effectiveness trials of combination behavioral counseling and pharmacotherapy.
