Cancer-Focused Research
The overarching goal of our lab is to engineer next-generation immunomodulatory therapies that act with precision—targeting specific cell types or tumor microenvironments while minimizing the systemic toxicity that often limits current cancer immunotherapies. By integrating tools from polymer science, biomaterials, protein engineering, and synthetic biology, we design programmable delivery systems capable of orchestrating immune responses with spatial, temporal, and molecular specificity. Our interdisciplinary approach offers a powerful framework for developing safer and more effective therapies for cancer and other chronic inflammatory diseases.
