Cancer-Focused Research
My research focuses on understanding the biology and therapeutic vulnerabilities of small cell lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies, with a particular emphasis on metastatic progression. We investigate how organ-specific microenvironments, especially the liver, reprogram tumor and immune cells to promote metastatic growth and treatment resistance. By integrating patient samples, spatial and single-cell approaches, preclinical models, and early-phase clinical trials, our goal is to identify biomarkers and develop new strategies to prevent, intercept, and treat metastatic disease.
