Cancer-Focused Research
My cancer-relevant research interests are in development and clinical deployment of machine learning for pathologic slides. I have supported development of ML models for diagnosis of prostate cancer from biopsy slides and used slides of breast cancer mastectomies to assess long term survival. Ongoing projects include identification of prostate cancer mimics in biopsies through the use of computer-based image retrieval.
