Cancer-Focused Research
My research primarily focuses on advancing abdominal and pelvic imaging, particularly genitourinary imaging (prostate and gynecologic malignancies). I study how imaging can better characterize indeterminate findings, reduce diagnostic uncertainty, and improve multi-disciplinary decision-making. I work on using radiomics to study texture analysis of tumors for improved detection, characterization and follow-up of treated malignancies. Advances in imaging can be used to our benefit in treating patients. My overarching aim is to integrate imaging research and educational innovation to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient-centered outcomes.
