Cancer-Focused Research
Dr. Marcus is a gynecologic oncologist interested in the surgical and medical management of gynecologic malignancies. Her research is focused on detection and management of pre-invasive disease, cancer genetics and novel therapeutics for the treatment of advanced uterine, cervical and ovarian cancers. She also has formal training in higher academic leadership and is interested in the application of these principles in graduate medical education. Previously, Dr. Marcus has served as site PI for a large national trial in the treatment of advanced, recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer and was Co-Investigator of several trials in ovarian and cervical cancers.
