A major goal of the Peek laboratory is to determine how molecular clocks impact cancer growth and transcriptional reprogramming through interactions with
the HIF pathway. We predict that targeting clock activity may down-regulate HIF in HIF-dependent cancers, including those involving Vhl mutations and mutations in mitochondrial oxidative enzymes.
