Comprehensive Neuroendocrine Tumor Program

The Neuroendocrine Tumor Program of the Lurie Cancer Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital provides leading-edge treatment and follow-up care for all types and grades of neuroendocrine tumors (NETS) of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreas.

Our multidisciplinary team brings together experts in endocrinology, endocrine surgery, interventional gastroenterology, interventional radiology, medical, surgical and radiation oncology, nuclear medicine and pathology. Genetic counselors, specialized clinical services including a Von Hippel-Lindau Clinical Care Center, and supportive care specialists offer guidance and resources for patients and their families.

The program’s weekly Tumor Board takes a comprehensive approach to care, collaborating across medical disciplines to review and recommend the best, personalized treatment plan for our patients with NETs. In addition to a full spectrum of advanced diagnostic and treatment options, a robust portfolio of clinical trials offers access to novel therapies before they’re widely available.
