I am an applied mathematician who has worked for a number of years in the field of computational neuroscience, creating detailed computational models of dynamical activity in neurons and neuronal circuits in the hippocampal formation and in the retina. I have also performed network analysis of high throughput sequencing of histone methylation and RNA expression, and have developed dynamical systems models of factors important for cancer cell lines. This background makes me suited to assist with projects that focus on theoretical and computational models of biological systems.
