Cancer-Focused Research
I am an investigator and psychometrician focusing on the application of patient reported outcomes (PROs) in patient focused drug development and in clinical monitoring to optimize patient management. In this capacity, I work extensively on establishing evidence to qualify PROs as clinical outcome assessments (COAs) to implement in drug trials. I also have a line of research examining new tools and methods to quantify and manage drug intolerability and medication non-adherence. Finally, I lead or support multiple projects focused on improving use of PROs in clinical settings to support shared treatment decision-making. I conduct this work in several clinical areas, with a significant focus in oncology.
