Cancer-Focused Research
Research in our laboratory focuses on two aspects of DNA virus biology: 1) How poxviruses take control of host ribosomes and cell signaling pathways. 2) How herpesviruses, such as human cytomegalovirus, control cellular organization through microtubules, using approaches such as Deep Learning-based image analysis pipelines.
