Cancer-Focused Research
Our research focuses on the synthetic design of recombinant fusion proteins for biotherapeutic, diagnostic, and disease modeling purposes. One of the general themes of our designs is to achieve target-specific delivery of bioactive proteins, such as enzymes, hormonal growth factors, and cytokines. Currently, we have designed and validated probe sets for targeting the different compartments of the kidney and specific cell types of the liver.
