Cancer-Focused Research

I am a medical oncologist with expertise in clinical and translational research in thoracic cancers and clinical drug development. I have led multiple clinical trials with novel drugs at all levels, from phase 1 to 3. In addition, I have developed guidelines for the treatment of advanced lung cancer and contributed to the development of commonly used treatment regimens. I lead clinical and research efforts in thoracic cancers at Northwestern University. In addition, I have been course director of the ASCO/AACR Clinical Trials Design Workshop and have mentored numerous faculty and fellows over the years.
